When Israel is at War

When Israel is at war, the rabbis ask the entire Jewish people to say extra chapters of Tehillim (Psalms), most notably chapters 20, 83, 121, 130 and 142.

Today on the bus, I sat across from this woman:

A few minutes into the ride, she pulled a scarf out of her bag, covered her head, and begin reciting her chapters of Tehillim.

When Israel is at war, I am grateful to be here... with my people.

The pictures brought tears to my eyes. Mi K'Amcha Yisroel! Thank you Rivka for sending out these important emails to those of us whose hearts are in Yerushalayim and bodies (for now) are elsewhere. Judy
